Dennis Paul Steve John


Dennis (Guitar/Vocals)

Dennis has been performing as a guitarist and vocalist since the mid-1960's. After graduation from college, he worked as a full time musician, first with the Matt Jordan Band and then in 1972, formed HARVEST. Many of his original compositions played a key role in obtaining auditions for major record labels in New York, which led to a publishing and recording contract for the group's national record release in 1976. His songs have been published by BMI,Inc.


Paul (Drums)

Paul comes from a family of musicians. His father managed an orchestra during the big band area and during the 60's, managed the popular area nightclub band " The Mark IV", of which Paul's two older brothers were members. When his brother was drafted, Paul inherited his first drum set and took his brothers place in the band. He joined Harvest in 1975, just in time to record the group's single. Paul is also an amateur artist, photographer and computer-graphics hobbyist and has designed and drawn the posters and logos used for promoting the band.


Steve (Keyboards/Vocals)

Steve studied classical piano for 14 years and also played trombone in the Hudson Valley Youth Orchestra and the Roosevelt High School Concert and Marching Band. During high-school, he performed with a popular area nightclub band " The Mark IV". While attending college, Steve performed with the Dutchess Community College Jazz Ensemble and studied music theory.


John (Vocals, and Electric Bass)

John has played with several very popular bands including "Harvest", "After Six", "Brandywine", and "The Mark IV". He spent five years as Chief Audio Engineer for "Black Creek Sound". In his career he has written, produced, engineered, and performed on countless Radio and Television ads, produced a "Grammy" nominated single for the band, "Northern Star", and engineered recordings for Alice Cooper and members of the "Byrds". John is now back performing with "Harvest".
